GALAXY Microsystems Ltd. has recently announced the release of a new extremely overclocked version of the computer video card NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450 on the basis of the chip GF106 produced by the 40-nm technology with 192-core CUDA.
The new NVIDIA graphics card is going to have a non-standard performance, which is very good for playing the modern computer games without any problem. Looks like GALAXY Microsystems is trying to impress even the most demanding gamers!
This new NVIDIA graphics card is called GALAXY GeForce GTS 450 HOF (Hall of Fame) Edition. It is built on a PCB (printed circuit board) with PCI Express 2.0 x16. An active dual-slot cooler of this new video card is equipped with a large aluminium radiator, four copper heat pipes and a pair of large fans that have the function of speed control by PWM (pulse-width modulation).
The new graphics card is equipped with 1Gb GDDR5 memory with a 128-bit memory interface and operates at impressively high frequencies: the Graphic Clock is 1000Mhz, the Processor Clock is 2000Mhz and the Memory Clock (effective) is 4100Mhz.
GALAXY GeForce GTS 450 HOF Edition can be used in a 2-Way SLI configuration; it is compatible with DirectX 11, Shader Model 5.0 and OpenGL 4.0. GALAXY GeForce GTS 450 HOF Edition refers to the NVIDIA 3D Vision Ready categories, it also supports NVIDIA PhysX, NVIDIA CUDA and NVIDIA PureVideo HD technologies.
On the back side of this NVIDIA graphics card you can find two DVI connectors and a Mini HDMI port.
There is no exact information concerning the price of GALAXY GeForce GTS 450 HOF. And yet no one knows when the massive sales of this new video card are going to start. So… let’s wait and see
